Gail is an amazingly gifted teacher! My 9-year-old daughter Arden has only had a few lessons, but her interest in guitar has skyrocketed! Gail makes it fun; she’s encouraging and upbeat, and her love of music is infectious! I like that I am able to sit in on the lesson, so I can help reinforce the lesson when she practices at home. I wholeheartedly recommend Guitar with Gail!

Gail has been my guitar teacher for a year and my plan is to hang on to a good thing. I couldn’t be happier with her guidance and expertise. She provides the structure I need to stay focused and progress, and she always turns me on to some new trick or flourish that inspires me to continue practicing. She emphasizes how important it is to be student-centered and allow the student’s interests to drive the instruction. She’s always open to working on songs of my choosing and that makes this process so fun and personalized. Gail started teaching my daughter Haley to play the guitar about two years ago. Gail is a very talented guitar player and she is a complete natural with children. She has the ability to make the learning process fun and challenging and somehow knows how to keep the child focused. Gail has not only taught Haley to play the guitar, but she has helped Haley discover her love of music which has become a big part of her life and has had a tremendous impact on building her self esteem. My 10-year-old son had asked me for guitar lessons for about a year. I pushed it off for a while, thinking it was a fleeting desire, but he continued asking. I decided to find someone in the area and let him try it to see if it was for him. I just googled people in our area, and I found Gail. It was not a coincidence that we ended up with her; she is a fantastic instructor, has such patience, and is so calming. He has been seeing Gail every week since December, and it is incredible how far he has come. It’s so fun to see his passion for it and how he retains these skills that might as well be a foreign language for me when I hear them talking notes and chords!!
