Guitar Lessons – Terms & Policies

To avoid any confusion, below are my policies regarding lessons, rates, schedules, etc. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on my policies.

Rates, billing periods and acceptable methods and times of payment:

Lesson rates are charged on a monthly basis and are due at the first lesson in the month. The rates are calculated based on how many lessons will be given in each month. For example, if the lesson is scheduled on a Thursday, and there are five Thursdays in that month, the lesson rate x 5 will be due at the first lesson that month.  No refund will be given, once lessons are started. Payment can be in cash, personal check, or credit card. In the case of returned checks only cash payments or credit cards will be accepted.

Changes in schedule:

Please plan ahead and keep your lesson schedule in mind. If you need to cancel a lesson, please make every effort to give as much notice as possible, at least 24 hours.

I am always happy to provide a make-up lesson during the month in which the absence occurred.

Lesson Time:

Please arrive on time for your lesson. You may arrive up to 15 minutes early if you like. Keep in mind that if you are late, you may be impacting other student’s schedules.

Parking:

If available, you may park on the parking pad at the house. There is also plenty of parking available in the parking lot in front of the house.

Termination of lessons:

Please give at least 30 days advance notice if you plan to discontinue lessons. No refunds will be given for the current billing period. In special circumstances of illness, I may determine that a refund may be appropriate – this is solely at my discretion.
