- Do you want to learn to read and play music, but think it’s too hard? Or too boring? Or not fun?
- Does your child want to learn to play the guitar and you don’t know where to start?
Start here! Playing the guitar is fun! It’s such a personal instrument and so portable. You can take it anywhere.
Acoustic and Classical Guitar Methods
Before launching that career as a rock star, it’s always best to have some understanding of what you are playing! Learning to play acoustic or classical style guitar will build the technique you need to play other styles of music. Learning the fundamentals of the instrument will open you up to other avenues you can explore as you grow with the instrument. This is a great place to start your journey if you want to learn to play the guitar!
Learning to Read Music
Learning to read and play music is fun too. It doesn’t have to be drudgery like you see in stereotypes of the piano teacher rapping your knuckles. Learning to read music is one of the best things you can do for your brain! Studies have shown that reading music actually increases brain function. For children, it can increase their ability to learn as well as develop confidence.
